Consumers & Authorized Resellers
Orders placed with California Heat are shipped within 2-4 business days. Once shipped, tracking information is sent to the email provided to us on the order. All shipping costs are non-refundable. If you would like to have a signature required for your package or purchase shipping insurance, add the desired shipping upgrade during checkout. If you are an Authorized Dealer and would like one of these options, please contact us for rates.
Product ownership transfers to the customer upon shipping, therefore, we are not responsible for any carrier issues or related costs that are not the direct result of our negligence. California Heat will assist to the best of our ability, but filing claims with the carrier and rectifying any shipping issues is the sole responsibility of the receiving customer. These issues include but are not limited to:
• Carrier losing or damaging the package in transit;
• Packages stolen from the carrier or stolen once it arrives at its shipping destination;
• Packages addressed to the location specified in the order, but delivered to the incorrect address.
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

For products purchased directly from California Heat, our return & exchange policy is 30 days from the consumer's date of purchase with a valid receipt or proof of purchase. Any technical issues with an item outside of the 30 day return window will be considered a warranty claim. Visit our Warranty Page for more information and to file a warranty claim.
To be eligible for a return or exchange, the product must be unworn, unused, clean, and in the original packaging. For products returned without all packaging intact, a restocking fee up to $15 will be deducted from the refund total. We will not accept returns or exchanges if the item is dirty or has been torn, broken, stained, or damaged in any way. We are not liable for product issues resulting from misuse, not following provided instructions, or mishandling.
All shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer or Authorized Reseller. California Heat will only cover roundtrip shipping costs if an exchange in size is needed due to a California Heat representative recommending and shipping the incorrect size. For products over $50 we strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for any products we do not receive due to shipping carrier negligence and issues.
To process a return or exchange for items purchased directly from California Heat, please fill out the below Returns & Exchanges Form. Requests are typically processed within 2 business days. Once given the approval for a return or exchange, we will provide you with a RMA # and return shipping address. Once the RMA # is issued, you have 7 days to ship the item. Items received at our location more than 15 days past the RMA date will be returned to sender
Once your product is received and inspected to confirm it follows the terms noted above, you will be notified & we will promptly process your refund or exchange. For exchanges, we will not send a replacement item until we receive and inspect the returned item, UNLESS you authorize a charge for the exchanged item then we will refund you after the return is received and inspected. Refunds are processed using the same method as the initial purchase. Refunds to credit cards may take 3-7 business days depending on how your credit card company processes transactions. For your convenience, we offer an extended return and exchange policy during the holiday season. Purchases made between November 15 and December 31 have an extended return period through January 14 of the following year.
AUTHORIZED RESELLERS ONLY
For defective heated clothing products purchased by an Authorized Reseller from California Heat or an Authorized Distributor, our return & exchange policy is 30 days from the consumer's date of purchase. We require proof of purchase, documentation of return & reason, and what troubleshooting was already performed on the product. Products that are replaced by the Authorized Reseller, but outside of the 30 day consumer return window, will not be approved for replacement. Once the return is approved and the defective product is inspected, a replacement will be shipped to the dealer. Authorized Dealers and Distributors MUST fill out the below return form within 7 days of a customer return to notify us of issues with products.
Any technical issues with an item outside of the 30 day return window will be considered a consumer warranty claim. Dealers should instruct consumers to visit our Warranty Info Page and file a warranty claim.
